Racism in America

Today's topic is this
Do you think there is racism in America?
And if yes , do think as Americans in day and age can grow past this narrow-minded bigotry?

I want to state my beliefs on racism.

1. There are  many people that are racist or prejudice against a different group of people on some level for various reasons.
2. Racism is such a big issue for a lot of races because they feel that their race is outclassed for another race.
3. Almost everyone you meet will have encountered racism either directly or indirectly.
4. Racism is something that based on something primal that makes us as humans classify ourselves as different or above others to help secure our own identities or sense of self worth.
